Safety Guidelines
Best practices to ensure a secure, transparent, and pleasant peer-to-peer delivery experience.
For Senders
When sending items with a traveler, transparency is key to building trust:
- Pack Openly: Present items in their original, unsealed packaging so the traveler can verify the contents. Never ask a traveler to carry pre-sealed gift boxes or wrapped packages.
- Provide Documentation: If carrying electronics or high-value goods, supply purchase receipts or invoices to help the traveler during customs clearance.
- Accurate Details: Declare the weight, dimensions, and type of item exactly in your listing and chats.
- Verify Profiles: Choose travelers with active review histories and positive community ratings.
For Travelers
As a traveler, you are legally responsible for all items in your baggage:
- Physical Inspection: Inspect every item physically before placing it in your suitcase. If a sender refuses to let you inspect an item, do not carry it.
- Verify Recipient Details: Ensure you have the name, phone number, and location of the recipient before departure.
- Never Leave Bags Unattended: Once you pack the verified items, keep your bags secure and do not allow others access to them.
- Do Not Accept Sealed Parcels: Only accept loose, unsealed goods that you can examine individual components of.
Public Meeting Points
Always coordinate item handovers and pickups in highly visible, public spaces. We recommend:
- Airport terminals or hotel lobbies
- Shopping centers or coffee shops
- Busy public transit hubs
Avoid meeting in private residences or dark, isolated spaces, especially when carrying cash rewards or expensive goods.
